I cannot remember a time when I was not interested in road transport, whether buses or lorries. My earliest recollections are of the red buses of United Welsh Services which passed the end of our road, and the silver lorries of Silver Roadways, where my Dad worked. I am just old enough to have a vivid memory of riding on the Mumbles Train. Going to Grammar School in the centre of Swansea in 1968 was a revelation from the bus-watching point of view; so much to see, plus meeting up with other lads who shared my interest. A later discovery was that people actually went out and took pictures of buses and such like, and eventually (1973) I started to record the local transport scene on film. Later on I progressed to developing and printing my films, and later still I started to acquire older negatives and negative collections from friends and fellow enthusiasts with the view to building up an archive.
However the photographs you see here are from other sources. If you want to buy a copy, that's great. You can order 6"x4" prints using the "buy photo" link underneath each photograph. If you want any of my original work you'll have to send me an email.
